Islamabad, 3 June 2025 – A tragic incident unfolded in Pakistan’s capital city as Sana Yousaf, a young TikToker originally from Chitral, was shot and killed inside her home in Sector G-13 on Monday.
According to the spokesperson for Islamabad Police, the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Sumbal Police Station, where an unknown assailant entered her residence and opened fire on her.
Gunman Posed as Guest Before the Attack
Initial police investigations suggest that the suspect may have been personally known to Sana, as he arrived at her home posing as a guest. After shooting her, he fled the scene immediately.
Police officials confirmed that upon receiving the report, officers reached the crime scene, and the body was shifted to PIMS Hospital for postmortem.
SHO Malik Asif stated that preliminary findings indicate the killer had some acquaintance with the victim. “We have started a thorough investigation from multiple angles, and an FIR will be registered soon,” he added.
Sana Yousaf Shared Video Hours Before Her Death
Sana Yousaf had posted a video on her Instagram account from Islamabad just a few hours before the incident. She was reportedly living with her family in Sector G-13, according to police.
