54 Palestinians Killed in Aid Center Attack

Gaza City, 2 June 2025 – In yet another harrowing incident of violence, Israeli forces opened fire on an aid distribution center in Gaza, killing at least 54 unarmed Palestinians and injuring 136 others, according to local reports and eyewitness accounts.

The targeted attack occurred as hundreds of displaced civilians gathered in hopes of receiving desperately needed humanitarian aid. Instead, they were met with bullets — turning the area into a scene of horror and chaos.

Aid Seekers Become Targets

Eyewitnesses confirmed that Israeli troops deliberately targeted civilians, including refugees and aid seekers. Victims were not armed or hostile, but merely present in search of food, medicine, and basic supplies. The attack has sparked global outrage and renewed calls for accountability.

Humanitarian Disaster Unfolds

Since the beginning of renewed Israeli military operations, the humanitarian situation in Gaza has continued to deteriorate. The United Nations reports that more than 625,000 Palestinians have been displaced since March 18, 2025, with the total death toll now exceeding 54,000.

“This is not just a war zone — it is a humanitarian catastrophe,” said a UN representative. “The repeated targeting of civilians violates international law and must stop immediately.”

International Calls for Ceasefire Ignored

Despite growing international pressure, including appeals from major human rights organizations and the UN, the Israeli military campaign shows no signs of slowing. The global community continues to urge an immediate ceasefire and unrestricted access for humanitarian aid, but so far, these demands have gone unanswered.

The latest attack on Gaza’s aid center underscores what many see as a systematic pattern of violence against civilians — raising urgent questions about war crimes and the role of international law.
